Builder's Standard Plan - Piara Waters

We am came across Tristan & NHBB in 2015 when we were looking to build a house and attended the Home Base Builders Course. I contacted NHBB and Tristan asked me to provide him with what we were looking for in a house, our budget and where we were building. Initially, I wasn't sure if Tristan would be able to help us because we didn't have $500,000 to spend on a build.

However, I was pleasantly surprised when on our first meeting he had a design that was 90% of what we were looking for. After a few iterations we had a design locked down and Tristan introduced me to the director of the chosen Perth builder, which provided us with a lot of confidence if something went wrong.

As to be expected, during the build we hit a few bumps. Thankfully Tristan was always accessible and happy to provide us with advise on what to do, what we were entitled to and what we were not on disputes. I always felt that Tristan was on our side even on the occasions we didn't get the answer we wanted. 

Tristan was also able to provide a number of recommendations of trades and an inspector who was brilliant in making sure the builder was held accountable.

We can’t recommend NHBB highly enough and I've recommended him to friends and colleagues a number of times in the past few years.

We will certainly be calling on his experience the next time we build.
