Custom Home on Strata Block

Who thought building a home could be this great?! This is the third time I've built, and by far the easiest and most satisfying. After taking a detailed brief from us, Tristan and his NHBB team guided us in selecting an amazing designer in Tom. We had explored going with an architect after looking at every high end display home in Perth, and what Tom designed was even better than we imagined. Then through NHBB, we were introduced to some custom builders that had been vetted through their process. They were all passionate, professional and very experienced. Being able to compare their prices was really empowering. We didn't go with the cheapest in the end, but the one that we felt would really suit us and had great communication. Again, having an independent advisor in NHBB made us much more confident. When small issues arose during the building process (and they always do!) we were able to get Tristan's advice, and when necessary, he would speak with the builder to make sure we were all on the same page. Having built previously with a well respected building company (Residential Attitudes) and now having gone through NHBB, I have to say going through a great broker like NHBB puts you in the drivers seat. We believe we got a much better home for a great price. But even if the costs were the same, I'd still go with NHBB. You get so many more choices in designer and in your builder -- and then someone to support you along the way. We now have our dream home and couldn't be happier!
